   Luzerne Optical Laboratories, Ltd. is the largest independently owned single location wholesale optical laboratory in the United States.  John “Jack” P. Dougherty, President, started in the optical business in 1960 and has served as President of the Optical Laboratories Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Irving Bennett Business and Practice Management Center at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

    Luzerne Optical is a family owned and operated business. Luzerne Optical has been servicing the eyecare industry nationally, as well as internationally since 1973. The laboratory services thousands of independent eyecare professionals.
