The McGee Group Launches "Argyleculture"

A new men’s line of optical frames from Argyleculture by Russell Simmons. Like the brand, the collection represents understated luxury, sophistication and the modern American lifestyle.

Specifics: Eight optical styles is offered in two colors named after a true music legend.

Argyleculture Eyewear features European colors, masculine designs in multiple sizes, edgy metal embellishments and a hint of classic Ivy League heritage.

The Magriffe and Hendrix are full rim handmade acetate frames featuring Italian triple laminate and modern rectangle eyeshapes.

The Reuben, Hancock and Marsalis are all semi-rimless metal/plastic combination frames with laser embellished end pieces and epoxy filled double laminate acetate available in a single or double bridge design.

The Dorsey and Ellington are full metal frames; the Dorsey has a higher bridge for a more modern look and square cutouts on the temple, while the Ellington features a more classic look with a marbled design on the acetate temples and an argyle patterned accent near the hinge.

Lastly, the Thelonius is a full rim metal/plastic combination with a retro eyeshape and temples featuring a metal inlay and a lasered logo.

The Magriffe, Hendrix and Chet are full rim handmade acetate frames featuring Italian-inspired triple laminate acetate complemented with modern rectangle eyeshapes.

The Reuben, Hancock, and Marsalis are all semi-rimlessmetal/plastic combination frames. The Thelonius, Miles and Archie are full rim metal plastic combination frames with eyeshapes that create a retro look.

The Dorsey and Ellington feature full metal fronts with acetate temples, spring hinges and adjustable nose pads.

The Brecker and Parker are semi-rimless metal acetate combination frame styles with adjustable nose pads and a more modern look, with a high bridge and rectangular eyeshape.

Each frame in the collection is named after a true music legend and comes with an Argyleculture fashion case.
